¶ Short Description
This is a bookmark holder/organizer designed in the shape of a book.
It consists of two parts:
- Part 1: Book body
- Part 2: Book pages
The original printed dimensions are:
- Height: 87.66 mm
- Width: 34.69 mm
- Depth: 65 mm
The book pages (Part 2) are inserted into the book body (Part 1) from the top. The guide rail in Part 2 is not fully continuous—it ends 3 mm before the bottom.
This results in a small but visible gap at the bottom left and right.
Part 1 also has a clearly identifiable feature: on the front outer side, directly in front of the guide recess, print artifacts may occur if printed too quickly.

¶ The copied elements include:
- The exact same overall geometry consisting of two separable parts — the book body and the book pages — with the identical insertion mechanism from the top.
- The characteristic visible bottom gap of approximately 3 mm between the “pages” and the “cover”, resulting from the intentionally non-continuous guide rail.
- The same proportions and dimensions (87.66 mm × 34.69 mm × 65 mm).
- Identical print artifacts on the outer front face near the guide recess — a distinctive feature of the original model when printed too fast.
- The overall silhouette and ribbed “page texture”, matching my original Makerworld model precisely.
¶ Distinguishing details visible in the eBay photos:
- The white page insert and colored book body combination are printed in the same structure as my original STL files.
- The bottom spacing and side recesses align exactly with those described in my documentation.
- The absence of my underside logo, likely removed or omitted, further indicates direct copying of my 3D file.
These features cannot reasonably result from independent design work; they correspond directly to the technical and aesthetic details described and published in my documentation on https://wiki.kanuracer.eu/de/3d-druck/legal/bookmarkholder.
¶ Legal assessment:
The product constitutes a verbatim reproduction of my Makerworld design and thus an unauthorized commercial use under the Makerworld Standard License.
Selling printed versions of this model violates § 17 UrhG (distribution right) and § 23 UrhG (unauthorized adaptation).
